Tariq Al Habtoor: Are We Living in a Simulation?

Tariq Al Habtoor lives and works in the United Arab Emirates; he’s currently an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at the UAE’s Advanced Military Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Center. Tariq Al Habtoor’s sought numerous certifications – such as “Understanding Einstein: The Special Theory of Relativity” from Stanford University – and he’s fascinated by the holographic universe theory.

This theory inspires minds like Tariq Al Habtoor to view the universe differently. Known to many as the simulation hypothesis, this theory poses that reality as we know it is an artificial simulation. Evidence to support thus theory has arisen around the globe, and some theoretical physicists believe they’ve found information that serves as proof that our universe is a complex hologram.

This theory first arose in the in1960s, and then surfaced again to rise in popularity in the 1990s.

“Imagine that everything you see, feel and hear in three dimensions (and your perception of time) in fact emanates from a flat two-dimensional field,” said a Professor of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Southampton. “The idea is similar to that of ordinary holograms where a three-dimensional image is encoded in a two-dimensional surface, such as in the hologram on a credit card. However, this time, the entire universe is encoded!”
